Class sign-up, place holds and automatic waitlists for tutoring centres

Tutoring centres set up fixed class sessions, and parents see each session's live remaining places on LINE and choose one. The place is held pending payment; when a class is full, parents join the waitlist. When someone drops out, the system offers the place to the next family in order, and once they confirm, it holds the place and creates a payment request.

  • Live place counts, never overbooked
  • Unpaid places held 3 days by default
  • Waitlist offers go out in order automatically

How do group classes differ from one-to-one lessons?

With one-to-one tutoring, the tutor fits around the student's schedule. With group classes, you set the times first and students choose a class. After you create a course in Kebao, you can open several sessions, each with its own weekday, time, term and capacity. The system generates every lesson and skips national holidays.

How do parents choose a class?

  1. See the open sessions

Parents open the class sign-up page in LINE and see each session's time and live remaining places.

  2. Choose and hold a place

Once chosen, the place is held for that student (3 days by default) and a payment request is created.

  3. Join after payment

After an online payment or a confirmed transfer, the student officially joins the class. If payment isn't made in time, the place is released automatically.

Can two families grab the same place?

No. The system locks the session and processes sign-ups one at a time. If several parents go for the last place at once, only one succeeds and the others are added to the waitlist automatically.

How does the waitlist work when a class is full?

Parents can join the waitlist once a class is full, and the system keeps track of the order. When a student drops out or a hold expires, the next family on the waitlist is notified; once they confirm on LINE, the place is held and a payment request is created.

How do make-ups work for group-class leave?

Group classes can use one of three leave options: a make-up voucher for another session of the same course with a free seat, a recording of the lesson, or no make-up. Parents see the rule before they request leave, as with any other lesson.

How do I get parents to choose a class?
