What can parents do inside LINE?

How do I connect my LINE Official Account?
Create a LINE Official Account
Use your own LINE account to create an Official Account in LINE Official Account Manager. The free plan is enough.
Enable the Messaging API
Enable the Messaging API in your Official Account settings, then get the Channel secret and Channel access token from LINE Developers.
Paste them into Kebao
Paste both keys in Kebao under Settings › LINE Official Account. The system checks them and sets up the webhook and rich menu automatically. Keys are stored encrypted.
Invite parents to link
Send each student's invite link to their parents. They open it in LINE and add you as a friend, which takes about 30 seconds.
How are LINE messaging fees charged?
You pay messaging fees directly to LINE; the platform adds no mark-up. Kebao is built reply-first: replies when parents request leave or check details don't use your push quota. Only proactive notices such as class reminders and renewals count as pushes.
Private tutors with a modest number of students usually stay within LINE's free plan of 200 messages a month. Tutoring centres with more students may need a paid LINE plan; see LINE's published pricing. Kebao shows your usage for the month in the dashboard.
What if I run out of quota or a parent hasn't added me?
Notices are either important (such as leave results and payments) or general. You get a warning as you approach your quota, and important notices that couldn't be delivered are listed on your home screen so you can pass them on yourself. Nothing slips through silently.
FAQ
Do I need a LINE Official Account to use Kebao?
No. Before you connect one, you can still use rules, the ledger, payments and reconciliation. Parents start receiving LINE notices once it's connected.
Do parents see Kebao's name or mine?
Yours. Parents add your Official Account, and notices say they follow your course rules.
Can I disconnect it?
Yes. When you disconnect in Settings, the stored keys are deleted.
