Tuition payments and bank-transfer reconciliation: fees go straight to your account

Kebao creates payment requests, sends renewal links, reconciles and keeps the books, but never holds tuition. Online payments go through your own ECPay or NewebPay account and are paid out to you directly. For bank transfers, parents report the last 5 digits of their account; once you confirm the money arrived, lessons are added and a receipt is issued automatically.

  • The platform never collects tuition
  • Card / ATM / convenience store / TWQR
  • No fees on bank transfers
  • PDF receipts

Why doesn't the platform touch tuition?

Kebao only charges you a subscription. It takes no cut of tuition and doesn't collect or pay out on your behalf. Parents' money goes into your own payment-provider or bank account from the moment they pay, with no platform payout delay and no risk to your tuition if the platform shuts down.

How do I set up online payments?

Online payments require a paid plan.

  1. Open a payment account

Apply for a merchant account with ECPay (individual sellers don't need a registered company) or NewebPay.

  2. Paste your merchant keys

Paste your merchant ID and keys in Kebao under Settings › Payment methods. They're stored encrypted.

  3. NT$1 verification

The system creates an NT$1 test payment to confirm the setup is correct and payment results come back.

  4. Start collecting

From then on, renewal links and payment requests use your merchant account. When parents pay, lessons are added and a receipt is issued automatically.

How does bank-transfer reconciliation work?

Transfer screenshots are deleted automatically after 6 months; the reconciliation result stays in the payment record. Bank-transfer reconciliation is available on every plan.

  1. Set your receiving account

Enter your bank code and account number. The number is stored encrypted and only the last 5 digits are shown.

  2. Parent chooses bank transfer

Parents see the amount due and your account on LINE. After transferring, they report the date, amount and last 5 digits of their account, optionally with a screenshot.

  3. Match against your bank statement

You or a finance member match reports one by one or in bulk on the Reconcile page: confirm when the amount and last 5 digits match, or send it back with a reason when they don't.

  4. Lessons and receipt added automatically

Once confirmed, lessons are added, a receipt is generated and the parent is notified. Transfers are never confirmed automatically.

Are renewal reminders automatic?

Yes, on Pro and above. When a student is down to the lesson count you set (default 2), the system sends a renewal notice with a payment link, and it reminds parents before and after the payment due date. Once a parent pays or you confirm a transfer, the lessons are added automatically.

Receipts and reports

  • Every payment can produce a PDF receipt issued in your name (not a government uniform invoice).
  • A monthly summary of payments and lessons.
  • Payment and reconciliation records export to CSV for your accountant or tax filing.
