Who it’s for

For private tutors: hand leave, deductions and tuition over to the system

Kebao lets one-to-one and small-group tutors hand leave decisions, lesson balances, make-up classes and renewal payments to the system, which notifies parents on LINE in your name. All you do is teach and tap "Done". Free for up to 3 students.

  • Free for up to 3 students
  • Set up in about 10 minutes
  • Parents use LINE, no app to install

Where do private tutors usually get stuck?

  • "Does this absence count as a deduction?" Explaining the rule again every time.
  • "Did we ever schedule that make-up class?" Make-up promises scattered across chat history.
  • "Sorry to bring this up, but this term's fees..." Asking for money is the most awkward part.
  • "How many lessons are left?" Excel, a notebook and LINE notes each say something different.

How does Kebao handle these for tutors?

  • Leave: parents see whether a lesson will be deducted before they ask, and the system decides by your rules.
  • Make-ups: vouchers have an expiry and a cap, and parents book the slots you open themselves.
  • Renewals: with 2 lessons left, a renewal notice and payment link go out automatically, so you don't have to ask.
  • Lesson balance: every change is recorded in the ledger, and parents can check it on LINE any time.

What does a week with Kebao look like?

  1. First-time setup

Answer 5 scenario questions to create your leave rules, add students and their regular lesson times, and the system schedules the coming weeks.

  2. Invite parents

Send parents an invite link; they add you as a friend on LINE and they're linked.

  3. Teaching days

After each lesson, tap "Done" under Today's lessons and the system deducts 1 lesson. Leave requests are handled by your rules.

  4. When lessons run low

With 2 lessons left, the system sends a renewal notice. When the parent pays, lessons are added and a receipt is issued automatically.

Which plan suits a private tutor?

With up to 3 students you can stay on Free indefinitely: rules, the ledger, LINE leave requests and bank-transfer reconciliation are all included. If you have more students, want parents to pay by card online, or want automatic renewal reminders, choose Pro (US$12 a month, or US$122 a year).

What do I need before I start?

  • A Google or LINE account to sign in to Kebao.
  • Your own LINE Official Account (free, and you can connect it later).
  • To accept online payments, an ECPay or NewebPay account; for bank transfers only, just your bank account.

FAQ

I only have two or three students. Is it worth it?

It's worth a try: it's free for up to 3 students. The most common benefits are clear leave rules and no more tracking lesson balances by hand.

Does it work for home visits and online tutoring?

Yes. Where you teach makes no difference; leave, deductions and payments work the same way.

What if parents aren't used to new tools?

Parents only use LINE. After adding you as a friend, they request leave and check details from the menu, with no sign-up or app download.

Set it up today. From your next lesson, the system does the asking.

Free forever for up to 3 students. No credit card needed.
