Who it’s for

For workshops: run group classes on your own, with sign-up, waitlists and payments handled

Kebao lets a one-teacher workshop set up fixed class sessions that parents choose on LINE, with live remaining places and an automatic waitlist when a class is full. Leave, make-ups and renewals follow your rules, and tuition goes straight into your own account. Free for up to 3 students.

  • Group classes with your own seat limits
  • Automatic waitlist offers
  • One-to-one lessons too

Common problems for a workshop

  • Classes have limited seats, and who signed up, who is waiting and who has paid live in LINE chats and handwritten lists.
  • Parents in the same class ask for leave separately, and you explain each time whether the lesson is deducted or can be made up.
  • You teach and also chase payments and reconcile transfers, and only find unpaid fees at the end of the month.
  • Enrolment posts go on social media and sign-up details end up in several places.

How Kebao handles this for a workshop

  • Classes: set up sessions, times and seat limits; the system schedules every lesson and skips national holidays.
  • Sign-up and waitlists: parents choose a class on LINE and the seat is held for payment; when full, the waitlist fills automatically as places free up.
  • Leave and make-ups: one set of rules for the whole class; parents see whether a lesson is deducted before asking for leave, and book make-ups with credits.
  • Payments: renewal links go out automatically when lessons run low; online payments or reported transfers add lessons and issue receipts.

From opening a class to teaching it

  1. Open a class

Create a course and its sessions with seat limits, times and the package price.

  2. Enrol

Share the class sign-up link or your public enrolment page; parents sign up or book a trial online.

  3. Sign-up and payment

Parents choose a session on LINE and the seat is held for payment; a full class gets a waitlist.

  4. Teach and handle leave

Mark the class done after teaching to deduct a lesson for everyone; leave requests follow your rules.

Which plan suits a workshop?

With up to 3 students you can try group classes on Free. For more students, online payments, automatic renewals or a public enrolment page, choose Workshop (US$19 a month, or US$194 a year), which includes everything in Pro plus group classes and waitlists. If you later bring in other teachers, switch to the cram-school type and its Studio plan.

What you need before you start

FAQ

Can a workshop also schedule one-to-one lessons?

Yes. A workshop can run group sessions and fixed one-to-one lessons side by side, with the same leave and deduction rules.

How is a workshop different from a tutoring centre?

A workshop is one teacher teaching their own classes. A tutoring centre has several teachers; choose the cram-school type and its Studio plan when you need teacher accounts, finance accounts or branches.

Can I switch from private tutor to workshop?

Yes, under Settings › How you teach. On Free it switches straight away; on a paid plan you buy the new type's plan first and the switch takes effect when you pay.

Set it up today. From your next lesson, the system does the asking.
